This guide is NOT about how to magically survive attacks with deadly weapons. Guns, knives, baseball bats are formidable threats, and attempting to confront these threats with your bare hands can be a foolish gamble with your life.

There are martial arts styles and self defense systems that teach you how to increase your chances when you have to face an armed opponent, however, there is a lot of training involved for these techniques to have even the slightest chance of being successful against armed assailants. If you don't succeed, you'll end up dead or severely wounded.

Under normal circumstances your only chance of surviving a threat with weapons is to either comply with the demands and completely submit or try and make a run for it.
