"Self-defense is all about surviving a situation where there is a very
real risk of physical harm being done to you. This requires first hand knowledge of some self defense techniques that you
can use to defend yourself without having to think. However, not
everyone has enough time to learn a multitude of techniques. I believe
that what everyone really needs is just a handful of simple yet
effective techniques that are useful for every situation.
Having been involved in all aspects of martial arts and self defense
training and teaching for the past 30 years, I can tell you
that if my life or that of my loved ones were threatened, there are only
seven techniques that I'd use instinctively.
Why only seven, you may ask? Put simply, I know literally hundreds of techniques
that I could use but because of my 30 years of experience in practicing
and using these techniques I simply know
